Some of the animation sets with included Playmaker controllers were deprecated on Unity Asset Store.
The Playmaker controllers that were included as free add-ons to those animation packs eventually became incompatible with the newest version of Playmaker (2023). The packages were marked as “Deprecated” and are no longer visible on the Asset Store.
All buyers that already purchased those animation sets can still download them using the Package Manager inside the Unity Editor. All the animations are still perfectly usable, but the Playmaker controller requires an older version (1.9.0) of Playmaker to work. The older version of Playmaker is also still available via Package Manager.
I will try to find time to reupload Movement Animset Pro, Sword Animset Pro, and other sets as new asset packs soon. For now, the only place to buy those animations is Unreal Marketplace.
Hellish Quart is a historical fighting game about sword dueling, in which the blades really clash using physics and the characters use motion-captured fencing techniques.
Play as one of many 17th century warriors and use sabers, rapiers, broadswords, and many other blades in single-player campaign or local multiplayer with friends!
This is a 176 mocap animation set to build a TPP character armed with any pole weapon. The set fits to spears, halberds, pikes, pollaxes, naginatas, quarterstaves and even such weapons as greatswords or greataxes.
Set includes animations for 2 poses, with left or right foot forward, giving you two different stances for better flexibility in usage.

Hellish Quart uses active ragdolls and all damage your blade can do is calculated with realtime physics. Four gamepad buttons represent 4 attack angles. Different button combinations give special attacks and combos. If you are not attacking, your character will automatically try to hold guard against your opponent's attacks. The blades really block each other and that's what's keeping you alive. To win, you must use proper timing, measure, technique, speed and wits - just like when fencing in the real world.

There is a huge sale on Unreal Marketplace right now. You can buy mocap animations for your game at big discounts. It’s a great time to build your animation library for current and future projects. Along with the Unreal Project containing the animations, you also get FBX source files. You can use them in any engine or 3D software you like, you are not limited to Unreal Engine. The license you get is forever and you can use those animations for commercial projects (compiled games, computer programs and videos)!

This is a short and easy tutorial for beginners. I assume you already know the absolute basics, like how to move the camera in viewport, or create empty project.
The tutorial shows how to make the character walk, do a combo attack with a longsword and change poses from left to right. In this tutorial I use Longsword Animset Pro animation pack and Playmaker visual scripting plugin instead of coding - this is super easy to learn for anyone, no need to code. But if you are a coder, you will also understand everything and be able to use it with coding.
An update for all Longsword Animset Pro owners, containing 63 new animations. This update will allow you to build a way cooler fighting system, where the character can be in two poses - with left or right foot forward. This works very well for a weapon like longsword and allows to use actual historical fighting techniques.

I made an experiment to test how HEMA shield fighting techniques would work in video games, in comparison to simple game shield mechanics.
Long story short: unless we invent a totally new fighting mechanics, a simple “block, attak, uncover completly” shield use in games is the way to go for now.
If you are like me, and you always dreamed of assembling a dinosaur skeleton from fossilized bones - this app is for you. Using Augmented Reality headset - Magic Leap - you can now do this on your own table at your own house.
The development was sponsored by Magic Leap as part of the Magic Leap Independent Creator Program.
Here’s an early preview of Dinosaur Kit: an AR dinosaur skeleton building app for Magic Leap. Featuring amazing skeletons by Vitamin Imagination.
A short preview of Witchfire gunplay - currently working on FPP animations.
It’s a great pleasure to announce that Kubold’s Dinosaur Kit was selected for the Magic Leap Independent Creator Program.
Dinosaur Kit is an AR app for Magic Leap, that will allow you to assemble life size dinosaur skeletons and learn interesting facts about their anatomy. And of course, the dinosaurs will have realistic animations and will interact with you!
This is a bigger game template, constructed using my FPP Melee Animset and other mocap animations from my and Riko's collection.
It includes melee fighting with many different weapons, which have different damage, range, blocking ability, speed and (not shown here) durability. The player has health and armour stats (just like in classic FPS shooters), but also Mana, which allows to cast different spells, which you can learn from scrolls. Template also includes some interactive obstacles, traps, health and mana potions etc.
There are 4 types of enemies.
